The visiting student program between National Taiwan Normal University and Kanazawa University High School was held at our high school from 25th to 29th of January, as part of the activities of our research project ”Cross-cultural research”. We welcomed Mr. Graham Todd and five students from National Taiwan Normal University.

Taiwan HourⅠ: On 26th January, Mr. Graham Todd gave lessons entitled “Cross Cultural Research” to each class of our first-grade students. Based on questionnaire survey about differences in values between university students in Taiwan and in Japan, all lessons were conducted in English. Active learning methods were also applied to these lessons.

Taiwan Hour Ⅱ and Ⅲ：On 28th and 29th January, our first-grade students made English presentations on results of cross-cultural survey between Taiwan and Japan. Their surveys were conducted in the context of group work for “cross-cultural research” project. All presentations were conducted in English, and followed by question and answer session and discussion with university students from Taiwan.
