Field trip programs with students from National Taiwan Normal University
Our students took part in field trip programs with students from National Taiwan Normal University.
1. Sightseeing tour of Kanazawa city center
On the afternoon of 30th January, our students and students from Kanazawa University guided a group of students from National Taiwan Normal University around central Kanazawa.
They visited 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, Kenroku-en (Six Attributes Garden), The Kanazawa Shrine, and Kanazawa Castle Park. Students cultivated cultural exchanges through the sightseeing tour of historic sites in Kanazawa city center. 2 students from our high school attended this tour.
2. Cultural experience of Japan
On the afternoon of 6th February, from 13:30 to 17:00, our students and students from Taiwan attended a Japanese confection making workshop at Kanko Bussankan Sightseeing and Product Center and also learned how to apply gold leaf at Higashi-Chaya District. They deepened mutual understanding of each other’s cultures through discussion about traditional cultures and crafts. 6 students from our high school attended this activity.
3. Field trip to Shirakawa-go
On 11th February, our students and students from Kanazawa University took students from Taiwan on the field trip to Shirakawa-go. They visited historic villages and the Gassho-style houses of Shirakawa-go, which are designated as National Important Cultural Properties and registered as a World Heritage Site. Students also enjoyed luncheon together. 11 students from our high school attended this trip.
