Kanazawa University Elementary School Japanese Adaptation Class "Sakura"
"Sakura" aims to improve Japanese language proficiency and develop the ability to participate in learning activities in ordinary classes for foreign children when they first arrive in Japan, and mainly teaches initial Japanese language and specializes in improving Japanese language proficiency. We will also focus on education such as Japanese learning and customs. After that, the purpose is to transfer to the regular class of our school in principle in the same age grade. We will create an educational course (special educational course) for each person and provide individualized education while attending regular classes.
In addition, by giving priority guidance to foreign children who need Japanese language education, we expect that they will quickly adapt to Japanese life and learning in Japan and will lead to the physical and mental stability of children. Furthermore, we expect that our school children will broaden their global horizons and lead to "cultivation of the ability to utilize diversity" in their educational policies by collaborating with foreign children and learning together. The period of enrollment in "Sakura" is half a year or one year depending on the individual, but even after transferring to a regular class, we will continue to attend and support "Sakura" as needed.
Those who wish to enroll in "Sakura" should understand the application requirements and admission conditions, and submit the admission application to our school between November 1st and December 10th, 2021. Applications can be submitted by mail or attached by email.
