コロラド大学の学生さんとの交流

　５月１９日（月）６・７限目の時間にコロラド大学の学生さん４名と同教授をお迎えしました（金沢大学の「多層型日米連携協働教育プログラムによる次世代グローバル人材育成」プログラムの一環にて来日）。
６限目の英語コミュニケーションⅡの授業では，前半には自己紹介を兼ねた異文化交流を行い，後半は新しい単元（Unit 3 "Entertainment"）の導入を共に行い，世代間の違いだけではなく，文化的な違いも感じながら多角的な視点を持って新しい単元に入ることができました。
７限目の時間には，文系生徒の空きコマを利用し，校舎内案内や授業見学をしました。どの生徒も一生懸命自分たちの学校生活を英語で伝えている姿が印象的でした。
放課後には茶道部に尽力いただき，茶道体験をしていただきました。説明も全て英語でしていただき，UCCSの学生さんたちからは素晴らしい経験ができたとのお言葉もいただきました。
On March 19, Monday, we welcomed guests from UCCS (4 students and 1 professor). They came to Kanazawa for a program with Kanazawa University, which has been selected and has been working for “Multi-Layered Educational Programs between Japan and the U.S. for Revolutionary New Global Human Resources.”
They enjoyed the cultural exchange with KUSH students. Also they walked and checked around to grasp the Japanese high school students' life. Especially, they were interested in the students' clean up system.
After school, tea ceremony club members performed tea ceremony, which impressed them the most.
It was such a great and fruitful opportunity for not only UCCS students but also KUSH students.
