Shiro。
This year, our Junior High School Department has begun a new English program focused on practical, everyday communication. Leading the English class is Mr. Shiro, an energetic and dynamic teacher who makes quite an entrance with his guitar in hand. As soon as he stepped into the classroom, the students greeted him with big smiles and cheerful voices: “Hello, Mr. Shiro!” In no time, the room was filled with English. The lesson began with self-introductions, followed by English bingo and dancing. Through these fun, hands-on activities, the students were able to experience English naturally—not just by listening or speaking, but by using their whole bodies.
For students who usually communicate in Japanese, learning a new language was both fresh and exciting. The class gave them a chance to discover the joy of expressing themselves in English and the fun of learning alongside their friends.
It was a lively, smile-filled lesson that sparked many students’ desire to speak more and try using English with confidence. We look forward to continuing to help each student enjoy English, broaden their communication skills, and grow step by step.
